Which materials does AC-Profil AG process?
PVC (rigid, flexible and suitable for co-extrusion), TPE and PP compounds. On request we also produce to your own formulation — see our plastic compounding service.
Which tolerances are possible?
Standard tolerances are ± 0.2 mm to ISO 2768-1+2, class c (coarse). Tighter tolerances are possible depending on profile geometry and material and are defined together with you in the design phase.
What is the minimum order quantity?
There is no rigid minimum. We produce everything from single pieces and pilot profiles to large series — cut to length or as continuous lengths. Send us your enquiry and we will calculate it for your project.
How long does a profile project take?
From briefing to first sample typically 6–10 weeks, of which tooling accounts for 4–6 weeks. Repeat orders are delivered from stock within 48 hours across the DACH region.
Do you deliver outside Switzerland?
Yes — across the DACH region (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein) and to the EU. Delivery time is 48 hours within DACH and 3–5 working days within the EU.
Can you produce fire-rated or food-safe profiles?
Yes. We use compounds to DIN EN 13501-1 (construction) and EN 45545-2 (rail vehicles), with a declaration of conformity supplied with every delivery. On request we produce with EU 10/2011-compliant compounds for direct and indirect food contact.
